Yorkshire Green Fleet Event22nd February 2008Green Motion Vehicle Rental are pleased to announce their participation in the Yorkshire Green Fleet event, in association with Sheffield City Council, Cenex and the Energy Saving Trust, to be held at The Source – Meadowhall, Sheffield – on 10th and 11th March 2008. The event is concentrating on the issues surrounding the increasing carbon emissions from the automotive sector and rising fuel prices. The Green Fleet event will bring together industry specialists and business users from around the country to discuss how we can all play a part in reducing carbon emissions. The event will be opened by the Right Honourable Rosie Winterton MP, a minister for state transport, and will also include keynote speakers and presentations from Cenex, Tesco, Modec, Smart and British Telecom. Green Motion will be displaying two of its key low emission rental vehicles – being Volkswagen's Polo and Golf Bluemotion. Visitors to Green Motion's stand will be able to find out more about these class leading vehicles and the benefits of hiring them in terms of the environment and their exceptional fuel economy.
