Golf Bluemotion joins Green Motion's Eco Vehicle Line Up

Green Motion Vehicle Rental’s Oxford location took delivery of the first Volkswagen Golf Bluemotion today.

To celebrate the vehicle was officially handed over by Volkswagen’s Rental and Leasing Manager, Nick Berry, at Volkswagen’s UK headquarters in Blakelands, Milton Keynes.

The Golf Bluemotion joins its sister vehicle, the Polo Bluemotion, on Green Motion’s fleet and further strengthens Green Motion’s commitment to provide customers with the opportunity to hire eco friendly vehicles. The Golf Bluemotion has CO2 emissions of 119g/km and boasts impressive fuel economy delivering 65.3mpg (combined).

Richard Lowden, founder of Green Motion, said ‘we have received a tremendous amount of interest in Volkswagen’s Bluemotion range and we are delighted to finally see the Golf on fleet.’

Max Jacobs, the owner of Green Motion’s Oxford location said ‘as the Golfs were being offloaded the phone began to ring with enquiries – we have further Golf Bluemotions on order and are also looking forward to introducing further models from the Volkswagen Bluemotion range including Passat, Touran and Sharan.’
