Low CO2 in Motion at This Year's Capital Fuel Challenge.

Green Motion, Europe’s Low CO2 Car and Van Rental Company confirmed today its participation as a headline sponsor in the Green Fleet Capital Fuel Challenge 2008 along with the event tracking partner, TrakM8, Transport for London and LBC Radio.
The Capital Fuel Challenge, presented by Green Fleet magazine, has invited large and medium corporate companies and local government authorities from around the country to enter into the challenge, driving their chosen eco friendly vehicles around four designated check points throughout the country’s capital. Vehicles in the challenge will include all electric models from companies such as Modec and Vectrix, hybrids from Toyota and Honda and alternative fuel vehicles such as LPG and Fuel Cell.
Green Motion will be entering two vehicles into the Capital Fuel Challenge itself, the first being a Volkswagen Polo Bluemotion (CO2 99g/km) which will be driven by one of Green Motion’s franchisees and the second vehicle, a Citroen C2 Enterprise Van (CO2 113g/km) driven by one of Green Motion’s national corporate account customers.
In addition, Green Motion will be supporting, for the first time, the Eco Driver Challenge, exclusively supplying Volkswagen Golf Bluemotions. The purpose of the challenge is to demonstrate how driving style can play a major part in reducing emissions and increasing fuel economy. Green Motion will also have a static display on the show, presenting for the first time the Volkswagen Golf Bluemotion Estate and the Passat Saloon Bluemotion.
Green Motion’s founder and managing director, Richard Lowden, said ‘we are delighted to support this year’s Capital Fuel Challenge and Eco Driver Challenge.
