GREEN MOTION VEHICLE RENTAL, IN CONJUNCTION WITH VOLKSWAGEN GROUP, EXHIBITS AT THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF POLICE FLEET MANAGERS (NAPFM) CONFERENCE

Green Motion Vehicle Rental, in conjunction with the Volkswagen Group, exhibited at this year's annual National Association of Police Fleet Managers Conference (NAPFM) show which took place at Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire. The NAPFM show is designed to present the latest in vehicle technologies to the country's rescue services from the world's leading motor manufacturers. Green Motion was invited to present its green/environmentally friendly rental model to in excess of 50 UK Police forces, Fire and Ambulance services, and shared Volkswagen Group's stand which featured product including the eco motive range from SEAT, the green line models from Skoda and the impressive Bluemotion range from Volkswagen.

Green Motion presented the benefits of environmentally friendly vehicle rental to visitors to the show and showcased the Golf Bluemotion which takes pride of place as one of the most popular vehicles on its low CO2 daily rental fleet.

To highlight its environmental credentials, Green Motion also installed its wind turbine system which supplies power generation at each of its vehicle rental branches. The managing director and founder of Green Motion Vehicle Rental, Richard Lowden, said 'its a wonderful opportunity and priviledge to work alongside Volkswagen and its sister brands at this exciting show. We have received a temendous amount of interest from the various rescue services in our short term rental products which are further supported by our environmental objectives.

To further promote Green Motion's environmental strategy, Green Motion handed out over 500 saplings to visitors to the Volkswagen Group stand and the show.
